CFLAR (CASP8 And FADD Like Apoptosis Regulator) is a protein coding gene. CFLAR is highly expressed in skeletal muscle, pancreas, heart, kidney, placenta and peripheral blood leukocytes, which may be an important link between cell survival and cell death in mammalian cells. Act as an inhibitor of TNFRSF6-mediated apoptosis. Diseases associated with CFLAR include cerebral artery disease, autosomal dominant inheritance, subcutaneous infarction and leukocytic encephalopathy, type 1 and colon adenocarcinoma.
