AKT1, also known as protein kinase B, which provides instructions to make a protein called AKT1 kinase. AKT1 protein consists of 480 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 55,686 Da. AKT1 is a carcinogenic AGC kinase, which exists in various cell types throughout the body and plays a key role in regulating cell survival, metabolism, proliferation, growth, and angiogenesis.
