Hepatocyte nuclear factor 4γ (HNF4G), also known as NR2A2, has a lower transcriptional activation potential than HNF4-α and is a nuclear receptor encoded by HNF4G gene in humans. HNF4G-related diseases include young adult diabetes and hyperuricemia. Its related pathways include regulation of β-cell development and gene expression.
