TLK2 (Tousled Like Kinase 2) is a member of the Tousled-like kinase family of serine/threonine kinases, which consists of a C-terminal protein kinase catalytic domain, an intermediate domain containing three putative coiled helix (CC) domains and an N-terminal region carrying nuclear localization signals. TLK2 is associated with DNA replication, regulation of cell cycle progression, development and a variety of diseases, including cancer. The related pathways include DNA damage response and Chks in checkpoint regulation.
